Place Bellecour

Located in the heart of the presqu'île, it's recognizable by its ochre color and its statue of Louis XIV. The OnlyLyon pavilion is located on the square.

Fourvière Basilica

Overlooking the city from the Fourvière hill, the monument offers a breathtaking view of the peninsula and the Alps, and rooftop tours are also available.

Parc de la Tête d'Or

On the banks of the Rhône, the park features a zoo and botanical gardens. You can rent a pedal boat, go for a bike ride or play molky with friends.

Old Lyon

With its cathedral, rue Saint-Jean, traffic-filled alleyways and traboules, this is a very pleasant neighborhood.

Place des Terreaux

The square and its fountain are surrounded by the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Hôtel de Ville and the slopes of the Croix-Rousse.

45-minute tour

Along the Saône

Leaving the hotel, turn left onto Rue Duhamel, cross Place Carnot and turn right onto Rue d'Enghien. At the end of the street, look out for the Basilique d'Ainay, turn left to reach the quays, then walk up them to the Pont Bonaparte. Look out for theChurch of St Georges, the Cathedral of St Jean and the Basilique de Fourvière. Take rue du Colonel Chambonnet (U-turn). Arriving at Place Bellecour , head for Place AntoninPoncet with its large bell tower. Walk down rue de la Charité to the Hôtel.

Vieux-Lyon / Presqu'Île

Leaving the hotel, turn left onto rue Duhamel, crossing place Carnot. Walk along the river to the Quais de Saône, then cross at the Passerelle Saint Georges. Discover Vieux Lyon by walking up Rue Saint Georges to Place Saint Jean. See the cathedral, then the basilica, and walk up Rue St Jean to Place Saint Paul. Don't hesitate to venture into the narrow streets to discover the traboules. Stop at the Tour Rose (Rue du Bœuf), recognizable by its ochre color. At Saint Paul, cross the Pont de la Feuillée and continue along Rue Constantine to Les Terreaux. Take Rue Paul Chenavard as far as St Nizier church. Then take rue des Bouquetiers and follow the 1st left: Rue Mercière. Walk down the street to Place des Jacobins and its fountain. Then take Rue Confort to join Rue de la République. At Bellecour, take rue de la Charité as far as the Hôtel.
